In February 2023, I had the opportunity to visit Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School (BGIS) while exploring the newly proposed ISKCON Vedic Farm community nearby. During my visit, I interacted with a few of the students—and I was genuinely impressed. Dressed in traditional Bharatiya attire, the students carried themselves with a regal presence and a remarkable sense of confidence. It was heartening to see a modern gurukula blending academic education with Vedic values so gracefully. The atmosphere was peaceful, disciplined, and spiritually uplifting. Truly a unique place nurturing the next generation with both wisdom and character. Highly recommend a visit if you’re ever in Vrindavan! Hare Krishna!
